I love making my own stencils with the Silhouette Cameo. It’s really easy to do, and you have the flexibility to make whatever type of stencil you’d like. Use pre-made stencil cut files or make your own custom stencils right at home!
In this video, I’ll show you how to make stencils with the Silhouette Cameo, but you can make stencils with most any digital die cutting machine, including but not limited to the Silhouette Portrait and Curio, the Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker, the Brother Scan N Cut, and more. I’ll also show you four materials that I like to use to cut stencils. My absolute favorite is the Grafix Matte Dura-Lar, but there are plenty of other materials that you can use, too.
