Make Quick & Easy Die Cut Halloween Treat Boxes

The spookiest day of the year will soon be here, and these quick and easy Halloween treat bags make it a snap to give out tricks and treats to all of the little ghouls and goblins that will be knocking at your door on All Hallows’ Eve.

DIY Die Cut Halloween Treat Bags

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Zigzag Treat Bag Die Cut
• “Boo!” Die Cut (from the This Is Halloween set or individually in the Silhouette Shop)
• colored paper
• glitter or metallic paper (for the “Boo!” die cut, but any paper is fine) – I used black glitter paper from a Michaels Recollections paper pad and Silver Shine Card Stock from My Favorite Things (love their metallic papers!)
• a Silhouette Cameo or similar digital die cutting machine
• craft glue
• a double-sided adhesive runner

Instructions :

Cut the bag and “boo!” die cuts using a digital die cutting machine. I used the Glitter Cardstock cut setting on the Cameo for the glitter paper and the regular Cardstock cut setting set to double cut for the metallic card stock. When all of your pieces are cut, adhere the “boo!” die cuts to the front panel of the treat bag using craft glue. Then, assemble the box using a double-sided adhesive runner. You can use craft glue for this, too, but I find that the adhesive runner makes the assembly process go much faster. Fill your treat bags with goodies for the little ghosts and ghoulies, and you’re set!
