DIY Rainbow Letter Die Cut Thank You Card (with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens)

There’s just something about rainbows that’s endlessly magical, and I’ve been lovin’ on them since I was a kid. I was lucky enough to grow up in the 80’s, so there were rainbows (manmade, at least) all over the place. I even had rainbow legwarmers, which were one of my prized possessions. And don’t even get me started on my sticker book.

This thank you card features rainbows in letter form, with awesome colors courtesy of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. The colors on these brush pens are so wonderful and vibrant, and they don’t seem to dull at all when they’re dry. Big thumbs up to that!

For this card, I used the negative areas of the die cut letters to make a template that helped me quickly glue the colored letters in place. Clear dimensional adhesive foam popped up the “thanks”, which I cut from gold foil cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo.

* these dies sold out very quickly and are difficult to find in stock, but MFT does have other, non-stitched alpha dies that would also be great for this project, and you could also digitally die cut the letters using a tall, thin font like Bebas Neue or Ostrich Sans Black, which are both free fonts.
